Serving the Least of Us (Matt. 25:40)
Help us to make necessary repairs and improvements so that we can continue to serve those in need!

We are raising funds to restore our community and our buildings!
Most of us are familiar with Jesus's parable of "the sheep and the goats" from Matthew 25.
In this teaching, Jesus challenges us to practice what he preached.
We are to care for our neighbors and attend to their needs:
To feed the hungry
To give drink to the thirsty
To welcome the stranger
To clothe the naked
To look after the sick
And to visit the imprisoned (35–36).
Jesus says, "Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me" (40).
We know that many of you are already generous to those in need, but if you are wondering how to help or where to best serve the least of us, then please consider giving to the Clarksburg Mission today.
Our residents come to us with little to nothing of their own. They are in need of food, clothing, and shelter, and it is our privilege to provide these for them without charge.
But our services cannot stop there. Due to experiences of abuse, trauma, and neglect, residents often bring impoverished ideas with them about relationships, work, and life. Consequently, these misguided assumptions keep them trapped in a destructive cycle of homelessness, poverty, and addiction.
Our program staff and volunteers help residents to see their lives in a new light, with an eternal purpose. This is a great benefit to offering a long-term program. Residents have many opportunities to heal and to learn how to become "rich in what matters to God" (Luke 12:21).
This spring, we are hoping to raise $45,000 to complete some necessary repairs and improvements to our 100-year-old facilities, for we cannot provide these services without safe and secure buildings. Projects include replacing a fire escape, addressing a foundational leak, replacing the ceiling in the men’s dorm, and replastering an exposed office wall. Our forklift and box truck, both used for clothing rescue, are also in need of servicing.
We offer new life in Christ through a long-term program. We provide a safe space for personal healing and growth to those who are struggling with homelessness, poverty, and addiction. Your support of this work is essential to its existence. We simply cannot provide these services to those in need without you.
Please consider a gift of $75 or more TODAY. Each and every donation helps our neighbors in need.
Let us "give to the poor" (Matthew 19:21), then follow the Lord!
